UCTI and TARC Review Part 1
Facilities: Apiit indeed having a better lab facilities compared to TARC. But in terms of other sport facilities like swimming pool, basketball court, I will give a thumbs up for TARC :) Anyway those are not important since I'm here to STUDY.
Library Services and Resources: Both Apiit and TarC have good library services as they provide online reserving and renewing. However, TarC has got an automated self-check out machine which allows you to check-out the book without hassle. IT resources in Apiit library definitely are more specialized while TARC's are more general. Overall, TARC has wider variety of other books compared to Apiit as you can see, TARC library has 4 floors!
Administration Service: TarC has its own established procedures. I can say that in this 4 months the number I ran to Apiit administration office is more than I did in TARC for 2 years. Apiit really think that they admistration staff were superman or superwomen, they are put on the front desk to solve ANY problems, which makes the admistration office so crowded. Apiit should have learnt from TARC, divide the college to 5 schools/departments, so Computing students don't have to mess up with Business students, for example.
Campus: Everyone knows how big is TARC KL campus. If you like to have some runnings or joggings before you go for the next class. go TARC! Have some sweats!
Events: I agree that Apiit has some unwanted events. Indeed some of the events are held to let us understand other country's cultures better, but I personally think it's too much. However, some of the workshops held were pretty interesting, some are free and some are expensive O.O TarC held a lot of events too. They have OO night, TalentTime Night, but they are held annually, so I think this is more meaningful than holding the events ALL THE TIME. Undoubtedly, TarC has lesser educational events like Apiit anyway.
The review above was just my personal thoughts/experiences and it takes no mean of insulting or promoting any of them.
