Hello there

It's been a while since my last post, sorry for my absence. I just didn't have much to share lately, my mind is like an empty cup, waiting for something to fill me up :D

12.24.2009 - Went OneUtama for Alvin and the Chipmunks 2. Treated Edward a dinner at Sushi Zanmai :D happy. Stayed over at Edward house and he had got new bed and L-shape sofa! Xmas presents from the Santa Claus ^__^

12.26.2009 - Janice's friend Lee Ing came to KL for some personal reason. We took her out to Sungei Wang and shopped till we drop. Bought a leather bag and a dress. At 8pm I dropped by a friend's house for Fumi's birthday party :D Steamboat party! Watched Titanic with fellows.

12.27.2009 - Edward bought himself a new phone - HTC Touch HD2, "the best phone ever" said the salesmen. "Oh Right".

12.28.2009 - Followed Edward back to his grandma's house at Dengkil. When we were in the supermarket which his uncle owns, I saw 3 MALAYsians parked their motorcycles right infront of the shop and stared at us like they had some intrigues. They were staring at us all the time regardless how long we'd been shopping inside! So we had been extra careful. Edward parked the car nearer to the entrance and we got on the car as quickly as we could. Those motorists left as we were in the car preparing to leave. I even saw them having a badminton carton with them. What the hell were they doing with the badminton at 8pm on jeans and without any badminton rackets? That was so suspicious! God knows what was lying inside the carton. They thought we might be busy carrying those stuff we bought from supermarket and forget about our handbags so they could get the chance to snatch our handbags. NO WAY! Edward had 2 bottles of wine ready on his hand, you know what he gonna do.

Happy New Year in advance!

Let's Go Comic Fiesta :D

Comic Fiesta is back! Edward, Fumi, Darling and I reached around 6pm, but the event was closed at 7pm. However the event counter cashiers were so kind, they agreed to offer us 2 days ticket at one day price :D Coz we told them we might not want to come on tomorrow.

My BearBerry!!!

I just couldn't believe that I'm griping a BlackBerry now. A week ago we saw promotion plan from Maxis - get BlackBerry Curve with RM 488 + subsribe to BIS RM98x6months (RM 588). My dear said he would like to buy it for me, I didn't know why was he so certain out of sudden since apparently my current Nokia 7390 is still working well except the phone standby time is really short (I think 12 hours) and bluetooth malfunction. He said he could pay the upfront RM 488 (device price) for me, I have just got to settle the other subscription fees (well marketing strategy huh, Maxis).

Last Saturday we went round and round in LowYat Plaza to test the model and I did a lot of research online. The conclusion is BlackBerry Curve 8520 has a few function lesser than its brother - Curve 8900, but it's absolutely BlackBerry budget phone. Finally I made up my mind yesterday and went to Wangsa Maju MEP to get one. Bloody them told me they only reserve BlackBerry Curve for those who sign up another plan - the postpaid plan, RM 270x 24 months. So eventually we went to KLCC as another MEP in Danau Kota has ran out of stock, we thought the main center should have more stocks. Disappointment soaked me. KLCC has ran out of stock as well and I was told to wait for 2 weeks. 2 weeks is just too much for a naive angel who thought she could get her phone on the spot. I left my contact number in the waiting list sheet and went home.

I don't know why I want it so bad, I want it to be on my hand so bad, I just couldn't wait for another second. Eagerly I called every MEP center that I can reach. None of them has stock. I even tried Celcom, as I see their plan is quite attractive as well, but they can't response to my request.

Eventually I tried DIGI, which just launched the BlackBerry Curve. They have some stocks, but their plan wasn't nice to me :( So I bought the phone at retail price. So silly me, I can actually just wait for the maxis to call me, and get my phone with 6 months unlimited BIS service. But I want it bad now!

Ok so now my phone is being charged, I'm so happy to get this Xmas present 10 days earlier from Edward ^__^!

What's Up?

Inadvertently I click on bookmarks in my Mozilla Firefox browser, I was surprised that most of my links (90%) are directed to Online Shopping Stores. There was a while when I'm very obsessed with buying new stuffs, I mean last week. I couldn't sleep well as my mind was throbbing and thinking about the items I have had in my wish list.
I don't mean that I'd cleared my mind not intending to buy any of them, however I feel I'm conscious (I always am ^_^) that I don't really need every of them.

Yesterday I went Starbucks Coffee in MidValley Gardens with Edward for the month of Dec :D Once in a month, I do think it's reasonable moreover we were sharing one drink. I couldn't finish a grande size of Frappuccino like I always did before, it's too sweet and thick. So the main purpose we were there was to pick up some fictions. (The Starbucks Coffee is inside Borders.) I bought Sophie Kinsella's Remember Me as I'd finished reading 'Can You Keep A Secret' two days ago. This book took me less than 1 month and has broke my book reading record. I think this might somehow due to my holidays.

Found Lady Gaga's The Fame Monster Album at the Rock Corner CD Store >___< Cost only RM50.90!

Random Facts: One of the 2009's Top 10 Richest Man in Malaysia - Vincent Tan (Berjaya Group Founder) has got 11 children! *Wondering how he distribute his property?* FYI Starbucks Coffee, Video Ezy and Borders Bookstores in Malaysia are all under Berjaya Group.

Exhausted Day @ Jom Heboh!

Believe me that I have done the toughest part-time job ever in my 20-year-life today! We were exposed under the sun from 9am to 7pm, selling Kellogge's cereals! Since I was wearing a singlet, I can see how much the sun touched me on my chest area. Holla, I never expected that we would be in outdoor! Shit, they promised to give us uniform but they didn't! (At least a formal polo-tee won't let the sun kissed my skin too much!) Incidentally, we = me and my bestie - Janice.

I forgot to introduce the event was actually JOM HEBOH at Stadium Bukit Jalil. I knew this event from TV, it's actually selling foods and drinks you can find in any local hypermarket, with bargain price. E.g, Maggie, Mamee, Dutch Lady, Ribena, Lipton, etc.

Besides promoting our products anywhere in the event ( we offered to do so coz standing around the booth is boring), we helped packing the products into eco bag too, for 2 hours standing there and performing the same job. Same motion and same position, and never stopped. For your information we had a really acerbic "manager" there.

My left trapezius is aching, as I'm left-handed. Luckily this event only lasts for two days, and tomorrow will be the last! Ra Ra Ra!

When Edward fetched us at LRT Station (finally got a seat) coincidentally Lady Gaga's Bad Romance came on the car radio. It was so comforting and cheering :D I'd heard Lady Gaga's songs at the Jom Heboh countless time but the feeling was exactly not the same!

I'm going off soon. and continue my "Can you keep a secret", for a peace of mind. :D Goodnight.

 xoxo,
Carrie.

Random + Christmas Wish List

I scribbled a few things I wish I have yesterday and was so sad that I'm not able to buy all of them without having 600 bucks in my pocket. I even clipped the note inside my book and left it at Edward's room recklessly. Why do I say this act is reckless? Because he might think that I'd fallen to be a victim of fashion or luxury or whatever he might think of - I'm a shopaholic! But shopaholics don't plan before they buy, do they? So I'm pretty convinced that I'm not. I'm just.. happened to fall in love with something that are a bit pricey and not-really-affordable and I want them so badly, that's all. *Good defense huh*.

Anyway my life is cozy lately, but we all know how long this coziness going to last, for a student. LOL.

Was in Edward's house today and we were watching [V] channel at 3pm. I was so excited when Lady Gaga's music videos were being played. They made me so determined to buy her new album - The Fame Monster, as an appreciation for her bringing such amazing and awesome music to my life.

Something struck on my mind at this moment- it's time for 2009 Christmas Wish List! *chuckles* I really got nothing to do, pardon me.
