Birthday Wish List

I never practice this before, but since I'm turning 20 this October, I guess I should give it a shoot. Here I come my 2nd decade!
*eyes rollings* I always have something I want.. but they aren't crossing over my mind at this moment ><

Just a few:

1. Starbucks Cup - Excuse me, not the plastic cup! I love Starbucks logo, for no reason :P Guess picture speaks thousand words. I prefer a tall one actually.

2. Necklace - I haven't bought necklace for thousands of years >.< Preferably with unique pendant. Was impressed with Hyori's cassette necklace and I want it so much!

3. 3ds Max Tutorial books - Would like to explore more in 3ds max, resources I found online were quite limited >.<

4. Baby-tee :D

5. Bracelet/ any other fashion accessories - Haven't shopped for accessories for so long, I have got no mate to go shopping with me T.T Poor me.

6. Birthday Hug - Birthday hug is warm isn't it, and it doesn't cost you a penny! :D

Hmm I will update this if I have anything cross over my mind xD

3ds max animation - Recycle. is UP!

Hi I have no idea why I felt so excited every time I blog in my so-little-traffic blog, maybe it was because I finally came up with something new to update and kept my blog "alive".

As I promised in the previous post, here's the first animation done by Carrie Y (me) and Nicole D (Yen Fen), and one of the characters is modeled by Roza (the dead bottle).
The quality was degraded when I convert it to AVI format :(
Hope you enjoy it as I do :D

It has been a while :P

Hey dear bloggie sorry that I had not posted anything lately, was engaged with my 3ds Max assignment crazily.
I'm so relieved as we finally had our 3d animation done! Undoubtedly it wasn't as perfect as what you have seen in the movie since we have limited skills and time. However we really enjoyed animating our cute characters in our animation! Will post the video up later since I'm lazy now.

Someone brought me down yesterday, I could feel that he was actually looking down at what I'm doing now (3ds max animation). He criticized that doing animation was actually an easy job (even though he knows nothing about it) as all we depend on was the 3ds max software, everything we have to do was just follow the settings, it need no special skills. I never thought he could spoke that to me as he was one of my respecters, but not anymore today. He thought what he doing now is BIG ART, is vital and noble, and I make no sense on doing this or anything. What a snob.

I hate people who takes no responsibilities on saying/thinking other people's job can be EASILY done as a matter of fact - they never had a dig at it before. Usually we always think that some chores are easy yet it is always NOT EASY when you handle it.

Even though you're winning in what you are doing now doesn't mean you have to criticize what other people doing. You're on your driver seat, I'm on mine too. Please do not drive and crash me over!

Oh no!

Ya hey, it's me again. :)
Arr I was waiting for Edward's class to finish in Apiit Enterprise 3 building, as he demanded me to come with him. Bad things often happen more than once a day. Firstly when I reached Apiit Enterprise 3, I found that I forgot to bring my power adapter and guess what, I purposely took off my battery from laptop before I came out from my home! Luckily Edward was so kind, he borrowed me his new laptop, else I will be dead of bored.

Second disaster was happened. As I wanted to have clean hands typing on Edward's new laptop, I was thinking of getting my hand sanitizer from my bag. So I accidentally catched my TFS Quick n Clean BB cream, and I found some brownish cream on top of the bottle. I thought "Yieeek? what are this cream going to do on my bottle?" After 5 seconds only I realized it was my BB cream leaked out from the bottle! I think it was because my Mr. Laptop was leaning on top of it thus squeezing the BB cream and the bottle leak! Aww my first thought was " OMG I'm not gonna spend another 50 bucks for this!"

I'm so upset T.T I just bought this BB cream one month ago and I rarely use it, and now my bag and keys used it! (the BB cream spilt on the keys and part of bag)

Edward has just finished his class. I got to go. Poor me T.T

THE CULPRIT!

UCTI and TARC Review Part 1

Facilities: Apiit indeed having a better lab facilities compared to TARC. But in terms of other sport facilities like swimming pool, basketball court, I will give a thumbs up for TARC :) Anyway those are not important since I'm here to STUDY.

Library Services and Resources: Both Apiit and TarC have good library services as they provide online reserving and renewing. However, TarC has got an automated self-check out machine which allows you to check-out the book without hassle. IT resources in Apiit library definitely are more specialized while TARC's are more general. Overall, TARC has wider variety of other books compared to Apiit as you can see, TARC library has 4 floors!

Administration Service: TarC has its own established procedures. I can say that in this 4 months the number I ran to Apiit administration office is more than I did in TARC for 2 years. Apiit really think that they admistration staff were superman or superwomen, they are put on the front desk to solve ANY problems, which makes the admistration office so crowded. Apiit should have learnt from TARC, divide the college to 5 schools/departments, so Computing students don't have to mess up with Business students, for example.

Campus: Everyone knows how big is TARC KL campus. If you like to have some runnings or joggings before you go for the next class. go TARC! Have some sweats!

Events: I agree that Apiit has some unwanted events. Indeed some of the events are held to let us understand other country's cultures better, but I personally think it's too much. However, some of the workshops held were pretty interesting, some are free and some are expensive O.O TarC held a lot of events too. They have OO night, TalentTime Night, but they are held annually, so I think this is more meaningful than holding the events ALL THE TIME. Undoubtedly, TarC has lesser educational events like Apiit anyway.

The review above was just my personal thoughts/experiences and it takes no mean of insulting or promoting any of them.

Lost Feeling

Not much update today. Just to post and inform that I'm still alive, after the exam. Never felt both nervous and relief on the same day! I was taking my first and only paper this afternoon, prepare prepare prepare before it and felt so relieved after taking the exam, coz I don't have exam anymore!

Wanted to post some pictures since this post looks so dull, but forget it since I don't have any inspiration of what pictures/graphics I can show now. My mind was so empty that I can only play Pet Society of Facebook for the whole day. (you do always play it for the whole day don't you, huh?)

I'm finding a kind of feeling, but I just could not capture what kind of feeling is that. Just randomly I have some pictures flashed over my mind.. Now I have a picture of night sky, where I can see the moon and some stars, a view from the window. I remember last time when I was quite obsessed with SOMETHING, I saw this picture before. So sad I can't figure out what is the SOMETHING, if not I could get the feeling back.

Time to ciao. Good night my blog :)

Hugs,
Carrie.

Morning in the Sunday.

Just a quick update before I finally move my body to study.
Edward eventually got his laptop yesterday :D And we went mid valley in the afternoon, just to walk :P In the evening my papa called me up and ask do I want to go Klang for seafood, and of course my beloved CRAB!!!! I think I don't have to tell you how I answer :P

Everything I ate between 8pm to 10pm yesterday was delicious, amazing, and delightful! This is the power of seafood! However thanks to the chefs as they cook us such yummy meal.

One thing about this morning, around 4am I think. The storm was so violent and furious outside my windows, rain kept lashed out at my windows as they think they could get inside. Everything was just frightful scary! I hope it's not happening again tonight.

I have an exam on tomorrow :) So guess here I will stop as I have not studied anything. All the best to those who are in exam period.

Loves,
Carrie.

It's about Passion.

Banzai! Edward is getting his new Dell Inspiron 14 laptop delivered to his house on tomorrow! I wish I could get a new one also :( but my dear Mr.Laptop is still strong enough except the cracked casing >.< So Edward is skipping the MQA class on tomorrow, and, me too!

I'm freezing in the computer lab at UCTI, even though I am wearing jacket! Today's Friday and I have just finished my last class of 3ds Max, awww. (Exam's on next Monday) Since my classmates were absent, I gained some extra knowledge :P as a pay-off to my effort for waking up so early and come to class :D

Today I learned cloth effects:

Was happy with what I have done, but I need to count 3ds max in my self-learning path coz we are not having 3d Lesson anymore :( Wish to learn Maya as well but not until I have mastered 3ds Max xD
3ds max is something to love, if you take it easy. Same goes to Java Programming, 9/10 students hate, afraid of, dislike, reject Java Programming, but my Edward is so in love with it, as I always call him "The Java Freak".

If you hate what you can't do, you are always a loser. If you love what you can't do, you are the winner.

Life, anything is about Passion.

3ds Max

I'm so "free" now. My mind's telling me I have got something important to do, I have to study for exam, doing my 3ds Max Assignment, designing my characters, but my body just wouldn't want to make a move.!

3Ds max! I love 3ds max (so far). For several weeks I have been learning 3ds max in my university-UCTI as 1 of my modules. Like the way when I'm rotating, moving, editing material of the objects. We are required to produce an animation length 1 to 3 minutes as our assignment, but so sad we have only learned about modeling, not much about animating yet! However I'm going to give my best before giving up, no we are not here to give up anything.

Lol I was modeling this in the lab, it didn't took me a long time like other models, but I love this :D aluminum can without shadow cast.

Another thing I'm addicted to is Facebook! I wasn't new to facebook but the applications just kept me playing crazily. I always love Pet Society, Word Challenge, and now Uno!
Gonna head off to "something else" but I don't really know which one should start first.

Loves,
Carrie.
